The BYD Sealion 08, a full-size SUV, has finally unveiled its interior, offering a glimpse into a luxurious and technologically advanced driving experience. This Chinese-made vehicle is set to make waves in the automotive market with its impressive features and design. The Sealion 08 is a flagship model in BYD's Ocean series, targeting families and drivers seeking a premium experience.
One of the standout features is the interior design, which incorporates a floating screen in the dashboard, a large LCD instrument cluster, and a three-spoke D-shaped steering wheel. The center tunnel houses a wireless phone charging pad, physical buttons, and a hidden compartment, providing a well-organized and modern feel. This system combines a 1.5-liter engine producing 115 kW (154 hp) with an electric motor for 200 kW (268 hp), allowing the car to run up to 400 km under CLTC conditions. The DM-p version, with two electric motors, boasts an even more impressive combined power output of 400 kW (536 hp).
Despite BYD's recent decline in domestic deliveries, with a 44.4% drop in June 2026 and a 45.9% decrease in the first half of the year, the Sealion 08 is poised to make a significant impact.
